PD2 Floor Lamp by Barba Corsini for GUBI

Designed in 1955 by Barba Corsini for the interiors of the attic apartments in Antoni Gaudi’s remarkable La Pedrera building in Barcelona.

For the base of the lamp, Corsini found inspiration in the vaulted ceilings of La Pedrera, while the inspiration for the cylindrical shape and perforated detail of the chimneys influenced the form of the lampshade.

The result is a striking character that works beautifully to illuminate any modern home.
