David Adjaye Washington Skin Nylon Side Chair
David Adjaye's cantilevered chairs establish a play between propping and balancing, so that they are simultaneously functional and sculptural. Washington Skin is a colorful solid, while its inverted counterpoint, Washington Skeleton, is reduced to a fine geometric lattice sharing the same envelope.
