After fielding years of requests from fellow architects to see his father Norman Cherner’s original designs back in production, Benjamin Cherner joined with his brother Thomas to form the Cherner Chair Company in 1999. Since then, Cherner Chair Company has revived many of Norman Cherner's most popular molded plywood chair and stool designs utilizing his original drawings and specifications, while also adding new designs from Benjamin Cherner to the collection.

Made in the USA with the same attention to detail found in the original hand made pieces, authentic Cherner designs are available exclusively from The Cherner Chair Company and authorized dealers. Cherner’s primary environmental philosophy is that you will never find a Cherner Chair product in a landfill. Featured in design collections worldwide, Cherner products are manufactured to last, cherish, and hand down to future generations. All components of Cherner Chair products are replaceable, ensuring that they can be indefinitely kept in service.
