African Pattern Rug by Milton Glaser for Nani Marquina
The African Pattern collection came about as a result of an accidental encounter between Shakespeare, Africa and Nani Marquina. Glaser believes that ultimately all things are connected, and that the role of the artist is to discover the inevitable relationship that exists between everything. Sometimes this is difficult and other times it’s a piece of cake.
The “Shakespeare in Africa” rug is comprised of two elements, a portrait of Shakespeare and the textured pattern, both created by hand and combined in Photoshop.
Available in three sizes and three colors - an heirloom pattern adaptable to any room and style.
Hand Tufted of 100% New Wool.
